That is the funniest freaking thing I've ever seen. Who thinks up this stuff? Who sits around saying, what animal imitation can I make that uses a fair amount of bacon?

Well, I guess they came up with it as a Super Bowl appetizer, which might help explain the excess . . . I'm captivated by the notion of how one would weave bacon and then get it to cook evenly with all this other stuff inside. And what else could you use woven bacon for?
